Why does the Chronicle show the same person archiving channels when Chronicle archives them?

When monitoring for certain behaviors or taking actions within your workspace, such as archiving a channel, Chronicle must sometimes assume the role of an administrator to perform these actions. This is done through the Slack API, which allows Chronicle to act on behalf of the user with administrator privileges who installed the app most recently. This causes Slack to show that this user archived the channel rather than Chronicle itself.

You can determine when Chronicle has archived a channel by the message sent before the channel is archived, detailing when the channel last had activity and who the current members were before archiving.
