How to archive an inactive Slack channel
There are a few ways to archive an inactive channel in Chronicle, depending on your workflow.
1. Via Interactive Channel Notifications
When Chronicle sends an inactive channel notification directly to the inactive channel, members of that channel can select Archive to archive it immediately if they believe it's no longer needed. Alternatively, they can select Skip, prompting Chronicle to check again the next time the channel is marked inactive. If configured, users can also select Never Archive to mark the channel as ignored, preventing Chronicle from flagging it as inactive going forward.
2. Via Scheduled Inactive Channel Reports
When Chronicle sends a Scheduled Inactive Channel Report to #chronicles, admins can select Archive Inactive Channels to archive all channels listed in that report at once.
3. Via the Dashboard
On the Channels page in Chronicle's dashboard, use the Cleanup Workspace card to view and archive inactive channels directly.
