Why are some Slack channel missing in Chronicle?

Chronicle automatically populates a list of public and private channels (sometimes called private groups) in your workspace, so you can decide which should be ignored from inactivity monitoring. However, Chronicle can only discover channels its bot account has access to.

Chronicle can see all public channels automatically. For private channels, you'll need to invite Chronicle's bot user to each one you want it to monitor. Once invited, the channel should appear in the dashboard shortly after.

If a channel still doesn't appear, try signing out and back in to prompt Chronicle to rediscover public channels and any private channels it's a member of.
